Hidden in an oasis of indigenous plants, Tawi Lodge is nestled within the serene nature of the Tawi Conservancy. Directly facing majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge has a magical atmosphere, felt as soon as you arrive.
As well as the view of the mountain, you'll gaze out over unspoiled views of the wetlands, where many animals come to play just metres in front of you. The lodge is also home to unique facilities including a lantern lit tree bar, watering hole, and organic vegetable gardens, which all connect you in with the beautiful Kenyan nature.

Specialising in classic safari activities, Tawi can take you on game drives, guided bush walks, and night drives accompanied by bush dinners. Amboseli is home to more than 50 mammal species, including huge numbers of elephants which are almost guaranteed to see while on safari.
Other activities include camel riding, bird watching, onsite massage services, and spectacular sundowners. For meal times, expert chefs prepare gourmet three-course and four-course meals, using organically grown ingredients to blend African-Swahili and European flavours, and there are regular barbecues with Maasai dances.
The lodge
Tawi Lodge is perfect adventure seekers, located just a five minute drive from the entrance to Amboseli National Park. The lodge consists of 13 luxury cottages with four poster beds and wooden deck verandas, and you'll have a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro not just from your bed, but also from your bathtub. Finished with rustic wood, beautiful fabrics, and a cosy fireplace, every space is personal and intimate. The cottages come in twins or doubles and the bathrooms have both showers and baths.
The swimming pool, hot tub, and paddling pool are great facilities for all ages, while the four different lounges accompanied by two bars are stunning spaces to relax and unwind. The ‘bush lounge’ is an ever changing outdoor spot, serving glorious sundowners.
